Pee Wee Wrestling
Overview
The Sargent Central Pee Wee Wrestling Program is open to students in grades PreK through 6, including students from Sargent Central, neighboring districts, and home education settings. The program provides foundational wrestling instruction in a supervised, school-sponsored environment.
On December 17th, 2025, the school board approved the Sargent Central Pee Wee Wrestling program.
PRACTICE SCHEDULE & parent meeting
First practice: Monday, March 2nd, 2026 in the lunchroom at Sargent Central
Note - Practices have been moved to City Hall in Forman. The school will provide transportation to City Hall for 3rd through 6th grade students attending Pee Wee wrestling practices who wish to get a ride.
Last practice: Thursday, April 2nd
Practices will be held on Mondays and Thursdays
Grades 3 - 6 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm
Grades PreK - 2 from 5:15 to 6:00 pm
Parents must remain at practice for the PreK – 2nd grade age group
There will be a parent meeting for each group in the lunchroom immediately following the first practice.
PARTICIPATION FEE & CLOTHING
The cost is $10 per student. Please make checks payable to Sargent Central Public School
Fees will be waived for students approved for free or reduced-price meals
All participation fees are subject to the district’s annual student participation maximums as outlined in Student Incurred Expenses
Wrestlers should wear shorts or sweatpants and a T-shirt. Wrestling shoes are not required. Clean athletic shoes are acceptable.

Schedule: Meets/tournaments are held on weekends
Attendance: Optional for all participants
Transportation: The school does not provide transportation to and from wrestling meets for any age group
